IBI Group high-rise wins NAHB Gold Award
LAS VEGAS – The Dundas Square Gardens condominium, designed by Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects, has won a NAHB gold medal for best architectural design of an attached community high-rise building.
The 958-unit building will rise 47 stories at 200 Dundas Street East in downtown Toronto. The condo tower sits atop a unique17-storey Garden Terrace building. Five cascading rooftop terrace gardens on different floors add an interesting texture to the building’s profile.
Winners were honoured at the National Association of Home Builders Nationals Gala awards dinner held January 20 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
11 Wellesley, a condominium at Yonge Street and Wellesley, won a silver award in the same category. IBI was co-designer with KPMB.
